Paris, France

LAST POST for my EU trip!! hohohohohohohoho

We took the flight from Barcelona to Paris Beauvais by Ryanair early in the morning and reached the secluded airport around 10 in the morning. From the airport, we took the bus to the town of Paris by bus for another an hour of journey.  Then we took the metro to the station to our hotel.

Guess who waited for us at the station? It’s Fairuz and Iqa!! Small Chesco reunion in Paris! Smile

Unfortunately, Iqa had to go because her parents were coming too at that time. We had our lunch at a halal pizzeria near the station, head to the hotel, got ready and went out again.  So, first day in Paris we visited Basilique Sacre de Coeur, the infamous church featured in the book Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Along the way there were so many little shops selling souvenirs. And thank God, Fairuz were with us as our tour guide, she haggle with the owner and we got almost everything for a cut priced. Smile

Then, at night we visited the Eiffel Tower! weeeeeeeeeee~  And we were lucky to be there when the tower lighten up!

The next day, we went to the Louvre, ad a cup of hot chocolate at PAUL, near the museum. Then we found ourselves at the heaven of shopping and fashion, Champs Elysees! And shopping spree began! Name anything, it’s there! It is indeed a heaven for shopping!

And yes, we head down to Eiffel Tower once again for photos in daylight. Winking smile After that we made our way to Gallerie Lafayette for more shopping, and stop by Hard Rock Cafe for a short tea, and nachos.

The next day, we went to Disneyland, Paris! Definitely one of dream come true to be visiting Paris and Disneyland! The ticket price was quite cheap because we showed our student card. So, one tip to travelling and discounts is that do bring your student card with you! And if you area studying in a foreign country using a foreign language, it’s better to get the international student card, which also offers discount for miscellaneous products such as Microsoft Office, Windows, etc.

Phewww! that was a lot of hard work to end the entire trip’s post!! And I am so thankful to Allah, for the chance to go for this trip, with my dearest friends, enjoy a lot of things see the world. So many things happened while we were on this trip! And one of it was, we were lucky not to be in Japan while the entire chaos of earthquake and tsunami hitting Japan on 11th March. We were in Nice when that happened. My family being concerned about the entire scenario of nuclear and the fact that power supply was out in Tokyo and many flights to and from Tokyo were cancelled, me and Gent got to be back in Malaysia after the trip! While Zarina made her way back to Japan because her place was not affected by the earthquake and power shortage.

All in all… it was a GREAT journey!! hope to have more trips in the future soon! Smile
