Florence, Italy.

Pardon me for being such a lazy bum bum and still  haven't finish up all the entries on the trip that i went in Feb/March up till now. 4.5 months!!! =.=”
so, here’s Florence Italy!
After Rome, we hopped on the train in the morning from Termini to Firenze station. The trip was uneventful, but the biggest problem or tragedy or incident was actually at Firenze (Florence itself) Just as we arrived to the area where our hostel we were supposed to be, we tried to find the exact location of our hostel, named the Riverbank’s Hostel but to no avail!! we asked a few locals as to where the road or address of the hostel but we just couldn't find it! We counted each and every doors on the street where the hostel were supposed to be, but NADA, nothing! We were tired, lugging our luggage, going in circles of the street trying to find the hostel and we were left confused as to where the exact location of the hostel. We almost thought we were tricked, that the hostel is a hoax, that it doesn't exist. We went back to the other side of the road to a hotel named River Hotel thinking that it might have any clue as to where the hostel really is, or if the hotel IS the hostel. So, we knocked the doors of the hotel, and asked  the concierge about the Riverbank Hostel, and I even asked if it the hotel is the hostel we are looking for, but of course he said NO. LOL. I'm glad that the concierge was kind enough to help by Googling the hostel for us using the Google Map. And you know what? In order to go to the hostel, we need to go through a tunnel like runway at the street we went around just before. =.=” This is how the tunnel look like.

can you see that opening? well, we have to INSIDE and there are other Rooms/Offices inside! Grrr~ And there’s actually no sign saying that it’s a passage or a street. So off we went to the hostel, being greeted by an Italian lady. But the mishaps just doesn't end there. The lady told us that we have to move out from the hostel and she will put us at other hostel because of some technical problems. We were like “Whaaaat??” haha. So she lead us to a place that was place of where special people stay for a visit  in Florence. It was more like a house or apartment and was run by a Mexican man. We were baffled! And at  first the Mexican man refused to accept us but the Italian lady was insistent saying that the owner of the house is her friend and he gave permission for us to stay there. But I'm glad we stayed there! Because it’s nearer to the Duomo, in front of a restaurant, nearer to Piazza Santa Croce, free internet, and the room was spacious. Open-mouthed smile
Now, let’s talk about how Florence is like.. Florence is like an old town, more like an Italian village to me. Nothing fancy, but they do carry all the designer boutiques at the town. You name it, Gucci, Prada, Miu MIu, and all those luxurious brand are there. We were lucky to be there during weekends. On Sunday morning, there was a small parade with people wearing cute costumes to the The Piazza Santa Croce, most probably for the mass i guess. Then we climbed up to the hills, and be amazed with the magnificent view of Florence itself. It was breath-taking! And the weather was just perfect for sight seeing.
