I was and still am quite busy these few weeks. The trip to Osaka, starting my job hunting in Japan, which involves exhausting my mental and physical tolerance, interviews, going around the entire Tokyo with my ex-schoolmate Ristina (who is a fanatic fan of Arashi and dragged me to all these drama scenes, restaurants, cafe etc) , preparing for presentation, and of course everyday lab research seminar which were held everyday, joint seminar with other uni on last last week's saturday. Hurm~ I'm not complaining here, I am actually enjoying these hecticness of my daily schedule. I actually feel sense of contentment through these.
So, this time, what I'm about to share with you would be the trip to Osaka last 2 weeks. (or is it 3 weeks?) I'm getting old these day.. Sorry! First, introduction to what Osaka is. It's equivalent to a city like Tokyo, the second most expensive city to live in the world after Tokyo. But it is somehow not as lively or as busy as Tokyo I must say. But the people are waaaaay warmer and cordial compared to the tokyoites which are a bound to be individualistic least to say.
After a year being in Tokyo, finally made my way to the southern part of Japan.. :) I was anticipating for this opportunity for such a long time! To discover the undiscover side of japan!
Our journey of 14 malaysian students starts 12 o'clock at night from Tokai University, Kanagawa to our friends’s house studying in KInki University, and last for almost 10 hours drive. BLAME THE TRAFFIC! (ok, we were to be blame for planning our holidays on the time during Golden week ==> in case you are wondering, it’s a consecutive holidays here in Japan)
the roller coaster we saw on our way to Osaka. cant really recall the name! ![]()
Hurm~ where did we get our feet to?well, since it’s holiday season in Japan, SALE season starts, and where else is a better place to shop than an outlet?
so we went to Rinku Outlet Town in Osaka and man, people just went crazy shopping! but the thing is, price of imported stuff in Japan is waaaaay too expensive! think like this, the price of a bag that cost 10000 yen here usually only cost 5000 yen back at the imported country and the price at an outlet in japan usually is equals to the normal price at the imported country. Got it? i wonder how these Japanese have so much money to shop! And you have no idea how brand conscious they are! LV, Birkin, Gucci is NORMAL wear here in Tokyo. not to mention Coach of course. Dont let me start on this matter! hihi~

otw to Rinku town!
The next day we head down to Nanba, a place that resembles Takeshita Street in Harajuku, where all these shops flocked in at one long street. It was a very crowded with people that came out of nowhere. And despite the catastrophe and mishap of the earthquake and Nuclear power plant, there are still a lot of foreigners flooding this place in Japan. And we were interviewed regarding Japan and how we felt towards all the incident happened. you can watch the video down below.

them, being interviewed.

Fisherman’s Market, where we eat seafood like no tomorrow!
So on Thursday the most anticipated itinerary in our journey is of course the Universal Studio Japan! weee~ As usual, line was LONG and usually last at least 40 minutes, and for the Spiderman, it lasted for 2 freaking hours! =.=” The ticket cost 6200 yen in case you are wondering which is around 90 usd (i guess? and it’s expensive! Paris Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, Universal Studio Singapore are cheaper!!) we managed to ride around 5 rides, which is not bad at all considering there’s too many people! At night we went to Kusatsu, our friend’s house, Atoy who studied at Ritsumeikan University. And had Vermicelli Soup, Chicken Rendang, Nasi Impit prepared by his mum who came to visit Japan at that time.

Universal Studio Japan!!

LOL
On the day we got back from Osaka, we rested in the morning, then head out to Shimidzu for a BBQ by the sea with the scene from the Mt Fuji!

can you spot where my hair pin is? ![]()
That’s all for my Golden Week’s adventure! I’ll continue my Europe trip next time, which is ROME people! Town of love! ![]()
